@hyphop I have a question how did you develop this OS, I understand its like linux but how did you develop it ?

its same linux! system based on openwrt (one of the best opensource linux project ) + krescue env

full sources not ready for sharing - but it will be soon

Will it also be compatible with Android ROM’s, LibreELEC images etc. using 4.4 kernels?
Then I can covert my ROM’s to krescue ones too if it’s possible.

This is minimal linux which is similar to what we use for emmc installer, it take alot of time and effort to get something like this running.

Is there anything I have to do to convert my images eg. LibreELEC .img or Android .img to krescue format to work with this correctly?

i will check howto make it more easy (and can prepare adroid and other images for Edge)

at this moment we can use simple raw or compressed streams images *.img.gz *.img.zst *.img.xz

PS: good news we have already one krescue system for both Edge and VIMx boards and can install ubuntu debian freebsd openwrt for edge (after some testing we can share it)

Are you planning on releasing a Universal Krescue? Or are you going release a beta just for the Edge first?

its already done and will be universal - its almost done! need just several days
already prepared openwrt freebsd and ubuntu images for edge
