wont load freezes up at android screen welcome screen … what can i do ?

Can you kindly specify mode details for your issues.

Basically, would be better to feedback issues like this:

  • Tell us the ROM version you installed or try to install
  • Tell us the hardware date code, i.e. Vim V1.2 1610 4916
  • Tell us the hardware model, i.e. Basic, Pro or Max
  • Describe all the procedures(step-by-step) you did with details
  • Provide necessary photos to help us better understand the issue you are facing

  • Others information you thought would be helpful for us

It’s all factory amlogic s905x,2gb ddr3+8gb/16gb emmc-v5.0, android version that came with it … it loads up to android name and freezes or goes blank (black) I’ve unplugged it restarted it numerous times and same thing … it’s about 6 months old … I haven’t installed anything on the system …

What’s the spec of your DC adapter? A 5V 2000mA is recommended for VIMs.

And power supply adapter is correct voltage

Kindly double confirm with following:

  • Take a photo of the adapter you used, or a link where you bought it
  • Take a simple video when you boot up your VIM device, this will be helpful for us to better understand the issue.
