Where to put the M2X extension board?

Hi guys! How to install the M.2 expansion board in VIM3? From above? From below? But the connecting cable is very short and on top of the board it does not allow to install an add-on. Need to buy a second building to make holes for the interface in it, and build a tower? Have some fun!

I researched this issue for my project, detailed on another thread.

The dimensions of M2X are:
88.0 x 57.5 x 16.0MM (PCB only)
109.0 x 57.5 x 16.0MM (with FPC)
The dimensions of VIM3 are:
82.0 x 58.0 x 11.5 mm

It seems the DIY case was not made to accommodate the extension dimensions, so a second one would likely not work without modifications.

So I would try putting M2X it in the bottom of VIM3 without the case.

As @aljazzair stated, I believe the M2X is designed to wrap under the bottom of the VIM3. Only way its connectors are accessible.
Some pictures for visual reference are here. There is a picture or video somewhere showing the two mated, but have not found as yet, when I do I will post back.
It might work with the case, if you leave the bottom section off. I need to order one to see for myself.

Here is picture with the VIM3 mated to M2X, though I believe the picture shows the VIM3 upside down to show M2X.
