I use Ubuntu on the vim4. And I want to use Vulkan hardware acceleration, but I can’t create any surfaces since there is no extension available like VK_KHR_wayland_surface.

Yes, Vulkan on linux is still a very early version at this moment.
Any chance of updating to a newer kernel on the VIM4? I got one assuming that it would be as current as the VIM3 but it seems really outdated, just on 5.4.
