Vim3 Android Bluetooth HSP/HFP failed

I will look into what that is, I have never heard of QQ call before.

@JustSumDad qq call is a calling app by tencent (the company behind pubg mobile if that rings a bell) iirc

Ya I found it on Google but thank you for verifying.
I will test it as to ensure my headset works but this of course wont help me with any hands free features.
Tho if it works it will at least move me one step closer!

QQ call aka IMQQ is not available to me.

So when I try to use the Android assistant I get this reply:

“set google as the default assist app to access your assistant”

but the instructions do not guide me to anything useful:

I think this maybe the core of why I cannot get Android to work hands free.

Thanks for your feedback. Our team will try to debug the assistant.

Thank you Terry, but as some of my apps that I want to build are 64bit only I believe waiting on the AOSP build of Android 11 is my best bet. No need to put more time into Android 9 Pie on this I think.

Since another build of Android 9 has surfaced and there are still no builds of Android 11 available I thought I would give this another try.

So I installed VIM3_Pie_V210128 and did the usual.

Nothing, no input accepted from any bluetooth mic. Tested with seven different bluetooth devices that have a mic on them and across five different applications.

@Terry

Was VIM3_Pie_V210128 the last Pie build your working on?
Is your focus now going to shift over to produce a build based on ASOP for an Android 11 release?

Thanx
