Updated coreelec, now stuck in bootloop

Which system do you use? Android, Ubuntu, OOWOW or others?

Corelec

Which version of system do you use? Please provide the version of the system here:

21.3 CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.aarch64-21.3-Omega-Khadas_VIM1S.img.gz

Please describe your issue below:

Updated to the latest version of coreelec, now my system keeps rebooting.

it does the same if I download the VIM1S image from github (The specific Kadas vim1s one that’s mentioned there) and extract it to the EMMC

OOWOW still has a really old versions of coreelec so I can’t test installing it that way…

Edit: booting it via Balena etcher and a USB the above image just works…What am I missing?

Anyone that can help me?

Think my SD cardreader just died so I can’t use this thing at all anymore..

Hello @Testio

Not sure about this, maybe you can reinstall the system?

Sorry for the late reply @numbqq

After I reinstall it via the above img file from the coreelec site, via the oowow ‘write image to eMMC’ option I get a bootloop again.

I tried it on a different screen. Shows a bit more info.

I’ll try it via the 2 year old image on the Oowow interface (please update it) and updating it manually again but last time updating once already was a PITA.

EDIT: Updating it the manual way was easier, but also results in the same error.

EDIT #2: I’ll just try and install 21.2 again, hoping 22.0 will just work.
21.2 just works, I’ll keep using that for the time being.
