well, what games do not work for you?
any help from Khadas team will be appreciated
playstation2 emulator
Ps2 emulator will struggle even in Snapdragon 845
What a coincidence !
I thought I was the only person who wanted to play video games on a professional Android/Linux development board.
There is EMUELEC that works pretty well on VIM3
you guys canāt achieve it by messing with the DT(been there done that long long a go)ā¦ all Amlogic cpu freq are locked in the hw blobā¦
Unless you guys can get the unlocked blobs from amlogic, you stuck!
Max you can do is play with mem clocks and timingsā¦
EMUELEC still canāt run PSP GOD OF WAR smoothly
So, is there a possibility of RK3588 overclocking?
Where did you get that infoā¦?
let say a bird said it to meā¦
anywayā¦ if you search hard enough you will find that info, since is public from other older chips.
Only one forum says thatā¦
Can anyone from Khadas confirm thisā¦?
If @superceleron have said it that means its true.
As he works closely with Amlogic and I would believe him it.
Bummer Thanks
Would be helful if khadas team can get that bin file
It seems that the blob for overclocking was obtained by the company Hardkernel in overclocking the Amlogic S905 in one of their SBCās. Khadas could try to communicate with Amlogic to get the required files.
links to where I got the info,
I added two freq 2.3 and 2.4GHz to dtsi
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/tree/arch/arm64/boot/dts/amlogic/meson-g12b-a311d.dtsi?h=v5.5.9#n144
and nothing show up in cpufreq-info
So are there any options to enable overclocking ?
this is not the file to editedā¦
you will have to edit the file " kvim3_linux.dts"
also note while changing the freq I think voltage should be left unchanged as max voltage to A311D cpu is 1.03 volts
As of now all these attempts yields no result.
I want to use mainline kernel
hi,
I uncompiled the .dts file for the A311D,
what do i do now ?
Can anyone at khadas help,
@Gouwa @tsangyoujun can you guys help us with overclocking
