Thank you for the honest and detailed response. I now have a much clearer picture of the battery life differences between Mind 1, Mind 2, and Mind Pro.
I would love to get a Mind Pro, but at $2,000 it is honestly out of reach for me. If Khadas could offer more accessible options — such as configurations with less memory or storage, or a lower-tier Panther Lake processor like the Core Ultra 5 — that would be very appealing. I understand this is purely a consumer wish, and I appreciate everything the team has done to support us through this thread.
Thanks to the new architecture of Panther Lake, the power management strategy of the Mind Pro is indeed excellent.
We appreciate your suggestions—making our products accessible to more users at a more suitable price is also our goal. However, since last year, memory component prices have been just insane, making it difficult for us as the manufacturer of the Mind Pro to absorb such high costs.
To be honest, even I have to rely on using the company’s Mind devices, as the cost of upgrading to new equipment is just too high right now.
Here is the video you requested. Mind the volume if you are wearing headphones. I cycled between mute and 2% volume several times and you can hear the static I’m speaking of when the speakers are being driven, versus when the xPlay is fully muted. You can also hear it fade away when I hit >10% volume. I am too new of a user to upload an attachment directly, so hopefully this link to Google Photos is appropriate for this forum.
I have watched the video you shared and listened to the audio with headphones. I can indeed hear the low noise recorded when you brought the phone microphone close to the xPlay speaker. I suspect there might be an issue with the device’s speaker.
I will forward the forum information to our service team for their assessment.
