Did you correctly flash the image, 100%?
Also, one thing to notice. While booting up a bunch of penguins come top of my moniter screen
Yes, also did the EMMC-Install
ok, for a test, try another image to load, use Krescue to check
But Iāll add, after all, 5 Volts can be small, for a monitor, camera and Khadas, just keep in mind, and preferably current from 3 amperes and above
Okay, Iām flashing it again
I tried Krescue through my TF-Card and didnāt see any output of touchscreen even after going into Upgrade mode using TST method. The blue light was also stopped blinking after 1-2 seconds. But when restarting and connecting to HDMI it shows the Krescue screen
it looks like a bad cable contact from Khadas to the monitor
So what should I do now?
Do you have the opportunity to ring the cable with a tester?
No, I canāt do that. I donāt have the tester. And I donāt the the cable is damaged coz it was just working just before I installed this version of linux.
ok, does it work with a different image right now?
I re flashed linux gnome kernel 4.9 and the screen worked perfectly. I flashed it through USB-C
But I want it to be working in mainline image: https://dl.khadas.com/Firmware/VIM3/Ubuntu/SD_USB/VIM3_Ubuntu-gnome-focal_Linux-5.7-rc7_arm64_SD-USB_V0.9-20200530.7z
clear, this is usb / sd version only
you need to find for eMMC
Can you please provide emmc version?
Its linux 4.9, I need a mainline linux
As @Frank said that the rotation feature wont work in non-mainline
at the moment what is, but if you have good usb-ssd 3.0, you can put the kernel 5.7, and you will be in a win
