Bluetooth TV Remote not working properly on VIM4 Android 14

Which version of system do you use? Khadas official images, self built images, or others?

Khadas official image – Android 14 stock image for VIM4.

Please describe your issue below:

After flashing the stock Android 14 image on my VIM4, I connected a Bluetooth TV remote controller.

In many apps, the remote does not respond at all.
The remote has a mouse function but the cursor doesn’t appear on screen.

This makes it difficult to use the VIM4 with a TV remote under Android 14.

I would like to know if this is a known issue, and if there is any workaround or fix available.

@Mohamed_Abdelazim Our firmware is not TV firmware. Therefore, it is not very friendly to remote control support (including not adding remote mouse function). If you want to support remote control, you need to use The third party TV firmware. We currently have not released any firmware related to TV. For some third-party applications, remote control is not supported at all, which is related to the third-party application itself and not to the system.
