Always the same bug

Hello, Yes, I started with Putty. I am mostly convinced that my adapter’s chip is too old(PL2303HXA). No driver for Windows 10 from the chip maker. I have to use old driver to get it to work at all.
Out of curiosity, can you tell me what chip your adapter is using?
Thanks.

hello.

good finally I managed with secureCRT and putty on windows 10 with usb-serial ch340.
well after I leave it on for how long the v edge and to keep or save the log how it is done.

@Gouwa
@goenjoy

Is there anything else to do?

HI @fred21
The printing log you posted not the full log, you only post part of the log. It might require some skill and experience to capture the useful printing log to us.

Not sure if you are available for a remote technical support via a video call? (English)

If not work, may be we can just let our sales contact you for a return first.

BTW, which version ROM you installed? from the log, it showed that the ROM is built by mo123? May be we can also do a test here with the same ROM.

Good day!

hello @Gouwa

I do not speak a word of English.
t is the rom android tv mo123, the last update.
as I already said, bug do it with any rom, android or other, arbian, librelec and ubuntu on SD, not emmc.
how to posted the full diary, I did not find the trick, plus 40,000 characters…

thank you.

  1. Start Armbian.
  2. Log in to the console UART as root and run the command “armbianmonitor -m” . Monitoring of the system should begin and show the temperature and frequency of the operating system.
  3. On the desktop Armbian on EDGE, start the video playback.
  4. When the failure occurs , copy what will be in the UART console and show here.

Show a photo of how the radiator is installed and how the cables are connected to the EDGE.

Hello.
What I’m going to do, my son’s computer screen, there is hdmi. Khadas uart-usb with my computer and use securecrt, to have a session and log if there is bug, with Android TV on the khadas edge v. After sending the full log, I need an email address to send the file. After that I will wait, but good 8 months to receive the edge v and bug with any rom, there is a material concern for me, I love khadas, never worry with vim 2 max, that I passed to my son. I bought a five TV stick anyway, which works pretty well, but a khadas is still better. Besides, implanting Alex in rom will be super good, here it is.
Thank you to all of you.

Wow that’s quite a huge fan for the board.
Will keep the board cool all the time but don’t you think there will be a lot of sound?

I have fixed 3700 fan with 3v GPIO pin on VIM3 Heatsink using double tape and I feel the noise it audible.

Will post my pics tonight.

@Spikerguy

No, no noise fan with two bearing.
40x40mm.

Yes this is better. The 3700 Fan have very small opening and vent so maybe it is running on high speed with less space for airflow thatsy I must be making so much noise.

Will Upload my video tonight.

I sent sessions to goenjoy.

I have remi ca rom pie-v190716.

have to explain myself.

I had to put it in 1080p.
but the screen and always like that.
it’s been 3 hours that I watch videos and for the moment no bugs.

a person has explanations to provide.

thank you.

Great to hear that no bug with a new ROM :slight_smile:

Regarding the UI questions, @goenjoy will response you tomorrow.

Good day!

the bug is back and I have the desktop display that is 1080p, frankly nothing and understand.

We haven’t released this version of firmware. Please verify it with the latest firmware we have released.
