Is there a Yocto layer that supports the VIM4?
I found the meta-meson layer, but it seems to support the earlier VIM3, but not the VIM4 as of yet.

Yes, meta-meson layer only support VIM1 VIM2 VIM3 & VIM3L, not support VIM4.
We will have another Yocto meta-meson layer to support VIM4 in the future.
That would unlock a build of balena-os, I’d love that.
I’m evaluating boards for a customer and balena-os + gstreamer access to hardware encoder would be wining combo.
Following up on the availability of VIM4 support in a yocto layer. Thanks!
Has there been any follow-up on this question?
Hello @byob11
Here is a test image you can try: https://dl.khadas.com/products/vim4/firmware/yocto/test/vim4-yocto-240315.img.xz
Follow this documentation to upgrade the image.
https://docs.khadas.com/products/sbc/vim4/install-os/install-os-into-emmc-via-usb-tool
If possible
$bitbake-layers show-layers
post the local.conf
I can build it here, and if you have a special layer include that too.
