Windwos 7 Tone Board VIM version no S/PDIF out

There is several threads about similar toppics but i could not find a solution to this specific problem:

i want to use the Tone Board VIM version as a digital signal converter USB->S/PDIF out.
so far there is nothing coming out of the coax/BNC/RCA connector with the black ring. firmware 1.04.

i only use the tone board, no additional boards.

is there a way to activate spdif out?

Not without a VIM SBC.

A Toneboard on it’s own will only take SPDIF in.
