Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting on the Mind

I am using the Mind and the Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting. I have made sure the BIOS etc. is the latest. I even bought a TP-LINK Wi-Fi adapter with an antenna and that still disconnects. The PC just randomly decides not to connect to Wi-Fi anyone know why? I have the power supply connected

Hello @jbrandonbb

Please try to troubleshoot according to the following steps:

  1. Clarify the distance between the customer’s router and the host to determine if the weak signal is causing the connection failure.

  2. Download the WIFI driver, uninstall the existing driver, and then install the newly downloaded driver to see if the connection can be restored.

  3. Determine if it is caused by an IP conflict. Enter the network settings and manually set the IP address to the current router’s IP address.

The router is in the same room

I have reinstalled the driver. I also bought a TP-LINK adapter but that has not changed anything, even after installing the TP-Link driver.

I do not have an IP address conflict. The thing is, this started happening suddenly when the PC had always connected and stayed connected fine. A new development is that it not only disconnects but also requires that I add my Wi-Fi password again.

I also have several other PCs and Mac, and phones, and they never disconnect.

I suspect the Wi-Fi capability of the PC is failing

Hello @jbrandonbb

Apologies, my description might not have been accurate.

The driver referred to here is the built-in WiFi driver for Mind.

Specific steps:

  1. Download the corresponding Mind version driver package and extract it. The driver package address is:dl.khadas.com - Index of /products/mind-series/drivers/

  2. Double-click and run “WiFi-23.20.0-Driver64-Win10-Win11.exe”.

If the above methods do not resolve the issue, please go to Device Manager and check for any abnormal options.

Hello @Hemjoe

I have just purchased the Mind 2 and am experiencing the same issue.

I have reinstalled the driver WiFi-23.20.0-Driver64-Win10-Win11.exe, but the device still cannot connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi and can only connect to 2.4 GHz networks.

Could you please advise on any possible solutions?

Thank you for your help!
