I’ve posted about this on this board (somewhere) but can’t find it or any replies, of course. Never fails to stutter more and more the longer the system has been up. A reboot resets that “clock” for a few hours at least… What gives?

Btw, it is SUPER annoying.

Are you providing the adequate cooling overhead for your device, using the official active cooling heatsink and airflow ?

You can check the thermal info with

$ fan.sh temp

For diagnostic information, please try running

$ dmesg | nc termbin.com 9999

And share the link to look at the kernel logs to find a reason for such behaviour,

Also if you would like to improve desktop performance,
You can force the GPU to run at higher speed with

$ echo 2 | sudo tee /sys/class/mpgpu/scale_mode
