What for is the usb-c port on the mx2 extension board?

Hello.
What can the USB C port on the MX2 board be used for, can it be used for data transfer? What devices can be connected to this port?

Hi, I’m sure that it is needed to supply additional voltage, so that it will be enough for all devices that will be built on the board

@Ilavev the USB-C port is only for power output, you can attach anything than can use USB-C and needs 12v (just 12v, not USB-C pd or such)
the only port for transmitting data on it is the PoE ethernet port (100mbits)

I saw it, but I was hoping that this port is needed not only for POE voltage. It’s bad this port is only for POE output. Then New M2X Extension is better!
