Waking Vim using motion sensing

HI All,

Does anyone have experience with waking the VIM using motion sensing? How possible is this?

On second thought, I guess I dont necessarily need to wake from sleep with the motion… I could just activate my camera using motion. I basically dont want to leave my camera running with image processing unless its being used.

I am guessing this will need some interrupt or an app running to monitor the presence of something.

Any thoughts?

VIM4 features an accelerometer onboard, just raise an interrupt on some fixed position deltas (after set time period, store the last recorded accelerometer positions and on a change greater than some fixed percent raise interrupt) and wake up the camera from sleep.
