VIM4 ubuntu 22.04 can not into OS without HDMI

If without HDMI, boot stops on Khadas logo screen. With HDMI, everything is normal.

Can you explain how you are able to see logo without HDMI screen? what step did you take to see logo screen alone.

Please provide the date stamp of the linux image installed as well. It is important to diagnose the issue.

One script start with system boot, which comunicate with other computer through ethernet.
Without HDMI connection, after boot VIM4, the ethernet connnection can not work. So I connect HDMI on VIM4 to find what happened. Just “KHADAS” logo is on screen.

OS is vim4-ubuntu-22.4-gnome-linux-5.4-fenix-1.5-230425.img.xz

Just I find one way to solve this issue. Follow The following website:
“VIM4 X11 Fixup [Khadas Docs]”
Then without HDMI, could into OS/desktop, but the screen resolution is bad, icon is very big.However, this is enough to what i want to use.

Advise to add one system configuration content to allow into OS/desktop without HDMI in the future, for example in /boot/config-5.4.180 or uEnv.txt or somewhere else.

@zhuyuanlong I think your script is using X11 based forwarding to view desktop, you can use any wayland based remote control software like waypipe, you can get the setup similar to what you require with gpu acceleration as well.
