Which version of system do you use? Khadas official images, self built images, or others?
Official OS Image installed to SD-Card: vim4-ubuntu-24.04-gnome-linux-5.15-fenix-1.7.4
Please describe your issue below:
TS050 Works fine with Android 14 (which installed on emmc), but when i boot from SD Card (where installed Ubuntu) - Screen doesn’t work (no display)
I noticed that if i plug in HDMI to Khadas, Ubuntu and boot screen works like there two monitors (and TS050 is main), but TS050 show black screen and no light
Hi, my Ubuntu installed and working on SD Card, so i can’t use use oowow for installation system to SD Card (i don’t know, can i?). But i install official image from khadas docs (Official OS Images), and how i know oowow use this images too
Hi!
It’s very strange, but I managed to get the screen working on the BredOS system. Maybe something happened with my Ubuntu installation, so I’ll try reinstalling it and let you know how it goes. Thanks!
Hi, @numbqq
Hi, I reinstalled 1.7.4-250423 from scratch, but it didn’t help. When the TS050 is connected, the backlight on the back of the screen does not even light up, and for some reason the HDMI monitor does not work correctly. The TS050 does not work either as a single screen or in conjunction with HDMI.
I also tried connecting the screen to BredOS - the situation is different there - the screen starts, but 99% freezes on the boot logo (while the system boots by itself, I can connect via ssh), and sometimes it reaches the login screen and works completely correctly, but when I log into the account, it again it freezes (the screen).
But it’s worth noting that everything works fine with the android that is installed on eMMC.
Thanks, the screen works with eMMC, but why doesn’t it work when the system is on the SD card? I specifically installed Ubuntu on the SD card and Android on the eMMC because Android doesn’t work on the SD.
Is there a way to make the screen work with the SD card as well?
Also, what can I do to make the screen work properly on BredOS?
