VIM4 stuck in boot loop when booting from SD-Card

Which system do you use? Android, Ubuntu, OOWOW or others?

oowoow: vim4-ubuntu-24.04-gnome-linux-5.15-fenix-1.7.5-250925.img.xz

SD-CArd:

vim4-ubuntu-24.04-server-linux-5.15-fenix-1.7.5-250925.img.xz

vim4-ubuntu-22.04-server-linux-5.4-fenix-1.5-230425.img.xz

Please describe your issue below:

Brand new VIM4, boots ok into oowow and Ubuntu installed on eMMC, however it gets stuck into a boot loop if an sd-card is inserted (with images above flashed onto it). the fan spins spins up and then down, the white led flashes, and the process repeats.

Does any one have an idea of what the issue could be?

Hello @underthetable

Could you try other SD cards to check ?

Thanks. Yeah, already ordered some cards as soon as I saw the issue. Just wanted to double check that this isn’t a known issue.

Hello @underthetable

SD image works on my side.

OK, with new SD-Card and non-Apple PSU, the vim4 boots from the sd card. Apologies for the noise. Although it seems there is an incompatibility with Apple chargers?
