Which version of system do you use? Khadas official images, self built images, or others?

How would I make a Ubuntu iinstall for the emmcthat would have a specific user name and password as well as sudo rights?

To build your own Ubuntu emmc install, you need to use fenix to build images:

To change the username and password for an install image, before you build, make sure you modify these file parameters:

github.com/khadas/fenix

scripts/chroot-scripts/RUNME.sh

master


      
          # Default user name, password and hostname
          USERNAME=khadas
          USER_PASSWORD=khadas
          ROOT_PASSWORD=khadas
          HOSTNAME=Khadas

By default, the user is added to sudo group and can use sudo.
