I recently purchased a tone board and a vim4. After installing Ubuntu 22, and upgrading the board firmware, there is no sound from SPDIF output. DAC analog outputs work just fine. Can you help me troubleshoot why SPDIF output to my Minidsp SHD is not working? SHD has an ASRC converter, and can accept any bitrate between 44 and 192, inclusive.

Hi @zer0stars If you are using the 5.15 kernel，you can enable spdifout by following the steps below.

$ sudo vim /boot/dtb/amlogic/kvim4.dtb.overlay.env
fdt_overlays=spdifout
$ sync
$ sudo reboot
