Just got my Khadas VIM3L HTPC, starting it up and configure built in Coreelec, but can’t reach shared folders from the network. Shut it down from the OS. After that cant turn it on - white LED is on, but no HDMI signal. Trying to push all the buttons, when hit function button got blue led blink couple of times and that’s it, no HDMI signal.

Can you double check to disconnect the power cable and reconnect again?

yes, i have done it, even replace power supplies. no effect, didn’t turn on

Maybe the image is broken, could you try the steps below to restore the image?

  1. Install Android image to eMMC
  1. Install CoreELEC image to SD card
  • Download CoreELEC image
  • Follow documentation to install CoreELECimage to SD crad
  • Insert the SD card with adaptor to your PC
  • Goto COREELEC partition and copy sm1_s905d3_khadas_vim3l.dtb from device_trees folder to COREELEC and then rename it to dtb.img
  • Save and eject the SD card
  1. Boot CoreELEC from the SD card
  • Long Press the POWER key and spply the power
  • Keep pressing 10 seconds and then release the POWER key
  • Then it will boot to CoreELEC from the SD card
  1. Install CoreELEC image to eMMC
  • Goto the CoreELEC console via ssh or serial debug console
  • Execute ceemmc to install the image to eMMC
    • Choose 3
    • Choose y
    • Then it will start writing
  • If everything goes well, you will see the information samilar like this

  • Then you can remove the SD card and reset to board to boot CoreELEC from the eMMC
