I’m looking for suggestions on what direction to head to interface a 2.8" display with the device.
My limitation is the need for a ~30Hz+ refresh rate on a screen with a visual area of 40x44mm or greater without the unit being unnecessarily large; I’m not limited to needing a touchscreen or set display interface.
The problem I’m hitting is being limited to SPI out or 40-pin out on the displays that I’m finding befitting of my size restrictions. I’d thought about using a smartwatch lcd which would be DSI, however the displays are too small at that point.
Would SPI over GPIO be the best option for my criteria?
