I need to be able to dump an image to an SD card using either Oowow or Krescue so I can replicate across many VIM3-based devices.
I was able to do this when we were using the 20.04 distribution. Now that we are moving our devices to 22.04, once the OS is installed (either via the SD or USB), neither Krescue nor Oowow will boot. Is there an update to either one of those which will allow me to do this? Or is there another method or dumping the EMMC?
Hi @Ingeniero
1.If VIM3’s EMMC burns 5.15 kernel firmware, the OOWOW firmware on the SD card will not run.
2.This issue will be fixed later and will be updated here.
Thank you for your quick replies. I am in the later stages of moving our software to the 5.15 kernel distro so I don’t need it immediately, however, is there an approximate timeframe on when this will be fixed? Or is there another way to extract the OS from the EMMC to burn to multiple devices?
