Hello,
I have tried multiple power sources, multiple micro SD cards… it does it with all of it. Power on and the white LED goes on for a few seconds, then just repeatedly does two flashes of the white LED.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Hello @unharmonix
The double LED flash (heartbeat mode) is usually indicative of the OS booting, in your case what is the issue, is the device not able to show video output, etc ?
Hmm I last had it running on hdmi when I used it a few months back. But today I was trying it on the TS050 screen and getting no video output.
The white LED lights up to indicate that the system is on.
Which firmware have you used ?
If I recall correctly, I’ve installed armbian and put it on the emmc too… And it was working on my 4K monitor. This was all last time I touched it. But I haven’t touched it for months and I also didn’t test it on the TS050.
@unharmonix mainline linux such as armbian do not have TS050 support yet.
We are bringing this up, and have it working in development branch, however for armbian to integrate this into their latest firmware it might take time.
Hey thanks for clarifying!
Which OS does TS050 work on? I know Android, but any others?
Would be nice to use a GNOME desktop with it.
Cheers
4.9 kernel Linux images provided by us have this functionality. However note that it is expected to have lesser GPU performance than mainline and your desktop may not be extremely smooth for all applications.
Alternatively you can try to build your own linux images with fenix with the touchscreen development branch.
Regards.
Thanks for the response! I am using it for an audio player/source on a custom stereo setup, so it doesn’t need to have stellar performance for anything other than playing audio and a visualisation on the screen.
Cheers!
