VIM3 Pro is not recognized in Mac OS

I just received the VIM3 Pro device, and I’m following this guide (Home · snappautomotive/device_snappautomotive_vim3 Wiki · GitHub) to flash Android Automotive OS to the device. But VIM3 is not recognized in my Mac: I connected it with a brand-new USB-C cable. I also tried with different Macbooks and cables, it should not be the hardware issue.

Could anyone help ?

Could you try to flash under Windows or Linux ?

Problem is that I don’t have a Linux/Windows laptop. Is there any documentation to help ?

Have you put the board enter TST mode?

After enter TST mode, could you provide the output of lsusb command?

I followed below instructions: Flashing the u-boot bootloader

To put the VIM3 into flashing mode do the following;

1. Ensure the USB-C power is disconnected.
2. Connect the USB-C power
3. Press the middle button on the right side of th device 3 times within 2 seconds.

When the device enters flashing mode the white LED will flash blue a few times. If you look for more information on the flashing mode, it’s sometimes referred to as TST mode in the Khadas documentation.

→ After I clicked 3 times the “function” button, the LED blue flashes several times and then the middle LED flashes, then the system just restarts.

Below is the result lsusb:

请再次确认下你使用的USB线有没有问题，以及板子和Mac的连接是否正确。

我这边在M1 Macbook上测试了下，在VIM3 进入升级模式后，是可以识别到对应的USB设备的。

我的USB-C线是新的，而且试了两根，连接没有问题，因为板子连上线后就启动了。
我连按了3次键后，蓝灯是有闪烁，但之后马上变成白灯，然后旁边的红灯也同时亮了，系统自动又重启了。 我认为问题出在板子没有进入升级模式。
