Sorry to ask.
I have 2 left hands so I will not be able to make an USB to TTL Serial Cable myself.
Can anyone recommend a product and a store to buy it?
Thanks
Hello, I picked up this model. Works fine. I used an old soundcard 4 pin connector cable for connecting to the VIM. Similar devices are available from many retailers.
One of these kits could be handy, also available elsewhere. Gearbest has many Dupont items too, some in local warehouses.
Cheers.
I like this one becase 1) 3.3v or 5v at the flick of a switch
2) ISP header, in case you want to program th serial chip (FTDI FT232RL)
3) ever so marginally more acceptable than the CH34x chips.
I think this option would be most convenient, donβt need any additional components universal connector for connecting to any device. If necessary, you can cut off the connector and soldered to the Board.
