Update to HA realease 2025

Which system do you use? Android, Ubuntu, OOWOW or others?

Home Assistant 2024.12.5 installed on OOWOW

Please describe your issue below:

I Use HA since 2 years on Khadas Vim1S, it work perfectly with periodic updates. But since the begining of 2025 no update is possible. Seems like image download does not work.

I made many action to solve Mise à jour impossible de la version 2024.12.5 vers 2025.1.X - #6 par AlexHass - Entraide Home Assistant - Home Assistant Communauté Francophone (Sorry in french, but easely understandable whith command lines) :

  • upgrade to Debian 12
  • systemd-resolved installation

no more erros in OS but HA update to 2025.X still not working

Sorry, I am bit confused. Reason I asked for this commands output is because I wanted to use the same image that you flashed to try and reproduce the issue. But I guess you have ran the command inside the container.

Is it possible for you to take a backup of HA configuration files and may be import them on a fresh image. To test it out, you can flash a spare sd card with https://dl.khadas.com/.images/vim1s/armbian/armbian-24.11.1-vim1s-bookworm-legacy-5.15.137-homeassistant-minimal.img.xz and then import the configuration file. If everything works correctly, you can then flash the same image to emmc using oowow and then import the config file there as well.

If the above doesn’t work, If you can share the image that you had initially flashed to the system, I can try to reproduce the issue and come back with a fix.
