Toneboard silence problem

HI,

I am facing a strange issue with the toneboard. After some time of working it suddenly stop outputting audio. The Windows audio panel shows it is connected also on the drivers everything looks normal, but no audio. If i disconnect the usb cable and reconnect it works normal until do that again. The Toneboard has firmware v2.00 and the drivers 4.86. Any help would be appreciated.

P.s. I have tested with different usb cable and different PC and do the same thing.

Hi, I have the same issue. Altough I don’t think it fix the problem, but the situation is better now, with the cheapest (really cheapest) 2.0 USB cable. Since one month I do not have this problem so often. Now it happens once a week. Before it was like 5-10 times a day.
I have testes like 10 different usb cables. Somewhere on this forum I’ve read that it can be occured by sensitive usb-c socket. I am waiting for delivery of USB cable mounted to PCB (based on PL2303TA).
