Things I personally confirmed while using the Edge2

  1. OOWOW cannot be updated automatically online.

  2. The Panfrost driver performs worse than the default driver.
→ When installed, YouTube videos show tearing.

  3. With the default driver, the Alacritty and Kitty terminals do not work.

  4. To enable RK3588 hardware acceleration, follow the instructions in the link below:
    https://github.com/nyanmisaka/ffmpeg-rockchip/wiki/Compilation
(After applying it, YouTube playback in Chromium reduces CPU usage from the 80% range to around 15%. Firefox also uses hardware acceleration, but CPU usage remains relatively high at around 20–25%.)

  5. Do not purchase the Station. The Ethernet performance is extremely slow, making it effectively nothing more than adding a 3.5mm headphone jack.

  6. The Fenix 1.7.5 image has an issue with language locale configuration, so it must be set manually in the terminal.

  7. On Android 14, a bug causes the display to not appear after rebooting.

We will check this issue.

Need to check, the system doesnt use panfrost by default.

It’s you are right. I confused during repeated installation GPU drivers.

I tested again, included driver was good. Didn’t need to change.
