I’m running into a bit of an odd situation with my VIM3 and could really use some insights. My main way of managing it is through remote SSH. Here’s the thing: when I attempt to shut down or reboot using the commands “sudo shutdown now” or “sudo reboot,” things don’t quite go as planned. Despite the SSH connection dropping, the VIM3 doesn’t seem to fully power down or restart properly.
What’s caught my attention is that when I use the physical buttons to turn the board on and off, everything works just fine. Additionally, I’ve noticed that whenever I reboot via SSH, the fan doesn’t kick in, unlike when I use the physical buttons.
Here’s another wrinkle: if I reboot through SSH, I can’t reconnect via SSH afterward. I actually need to do a reboot using the physical buttons to restore SSH connectivity.
Has anyone else come across this quirky issue? And if you happen to know how to make the shutdown and reboot work seamlessly through SSH, your insights would be a huge help.
Thank you in advance for your help!
