RE: NPU Demo and source code

about 6 to 8 fps, pls see the link

@rvelloso 125ms for one reasoning.

Frank,

Thanks for the reply. Another question: is the board compatible with this darknet model: csresnext50-panet-spp-original-optimal - https://github.com/AlexeyAB/darknet.

Iā€™m asking because it is about 30% smaller than yolov3 (100 GFLOPS vs 141 GFLOPS), so it should run at about 7-10fps - I think, and reported mAP is higher (according to the readme).

Thanks.

Most probably not
unless Khadas releases the model.
So I have only ported yolov3 weights from original darknet.

@rvelloso We will have more plans about NPU in the future, which can be included in our consideration .Our recent plans are full. If we are going to be compatible with more Yolo models, we will solicit your needs in the forum.

@RKroells Please follow our new NPU docs . And you should use convert tools with you host PC not VIM3

FUNNY???

If this How To Use the NPU | Khadas Documentation is
your NPU doc where do i find the NEW version?

If i use How to run NPU Demo on VIM3 | Khadas Documentation
i get

root@Khadas:~/npu/aml_npu_demo_binaries/inceptionv3/VIM3# ./run.sh

So both are VERY Great Way to get started :frowning:

@RKroells Which one firmware you use ?

Ubuntu V20200530 + full-upgrade ā€¦ did manage to get and other the other newer images to run stable :frowning:

I donā€™t understand the meaning of this ā€¦

Iā€™d rather get the NPU to work , but your 2 guides dont work.

So please provide more informations. What image you used??

Upgrade guidance:

Based on image V0.9-20200530 9.

khadas@Khadas:~$ sudo apt update
khadas@Khadas:~$ sudo apt full-upgrade
khadas@Khadas:~$ sync
khadas@Khadas:~$ sudo reboot

After upgrade please provide cat /etc/fenix-release & uname -a output.

[16:42:39] root@Khadas:/# cat /etc/fenix-release & uname -a
[1] 42024
cat: /etc/fenix-release: No such file or directory

[1]+ Exit 1 cat /etc/fenix-release
