Problem with the resolution Ubuntu

Hi all,

Thanks for reading this. I have a Khadas Vim. My telvision does not support the standard high resolution of Ubuntu (1920x1080), so I am trying to lower the resolution on another screen in order to get to an acceptable resolution.

When I go to “Configure display settings” it says " Monitor unknown".

I tries xrandr in the following fashion: https://askubuntu.com/questions/377937/how-to-set-a-custom-resolution

But i kep gettin errors like: Failed to get size of gamma for output default

Is there a solution for this? I am new to Ubuntu.

What’s the resolution of your monitor? We do more test for HDMI VESA output mode on android.
If you want to use your device on android, I will provide the special ROM for you. But it still is not active on Ubuntu and we will add suppor for it in the future.
Sorry for that. Thanks.
