Power Supply Differentiation

Hi folks. I using a Khadas Mind 1 along with the Mind Dock. I have use use case as follows:

  • AC Power is supplied via the Mind Dock
  • When disconnected from AC power the Mind 1 enters sleep mode (standard)
  • When reconnected to AC via the Mind Dock the Mind 1 wakes (also standard)
  • Alternatively when reconnected to AC via power adapter connected directly the USB-C port of the Mind 1 I would like the Mind to remain in sleep mode and also disable power supply from the Mind 1 to the Mind Dock.

Basically when connected to AC via the direct USB-C on the Mind 1 I would like the device to stay in a low power mode as opposed to waking.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this would be much appreciated. My initial thoughts are that this may be possible to configure using event logs and task scheduler.

Hello @finnhunt

The Khadas Mind product takes into account the functional requirements across different scenarios. When the device enters sleep mode, it will resume to the startup state upon detecting a new power source connection. This is designed to facilitate the transition from Scenario A to Scenario B quickly and efficiently. This feature is currently not modifiable.
