I really enjoyed the Mind 2 unit and it has been my favorite device in my home lab. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing ongoing issues with it shutting down unexpectedly. Because I travel often, the unit has seen only light use and is usually powered off. About two months ago, I began using it daily, and it started shutting down two or three times per week. Since then, the issue has become more frequent, to the point that it now powers off multiple times a day.
As a result, I have stopped using it and currently have it stored away. This is very disappointing, especially given the cost of the device. It appears the system may be overheating, and I have seen similar reports from other Mind 2 users online.
Could you please advise on how to restore the unit to reliable operation? I will power it on again today and see if the issue continues. I will also check the warranty status, but I would appreciate knowing what options are available if it is no longer covered. Thank you.
I am using standard windows OS that it shipped with.
I have the Mind 2 Ultra 7 64GB+2TB
I dont have log files yet but I will try to get some , IF it powers on.
I am using everything original, the power is the original power supply and cable, the OS is khadas os installation of windows, the mind app did run many updates periodically.
