Which version of system do you use? Khadas official images, self built images, or others?

Please describe your issue below:
When the board boots with a display connected, a Wayland desktop is created and EGL is accessible.
When the board boots without a display connected, there is of course no Wayland desktop and EGL is not accessible.
I’m assuming the Wayland startup initialises EGL. What are the steps required to initialise EGL if there is no desktop user?
