Need Guidance with Khadas VIM3 Power Issue

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Khadas VIM3 SBC (Single Board Computer) for a project I’m working on. However, I seem to be encountering some power-related issues. Whenever I try to power it on, the device doesn’t seem to boot up properly, and sometimes it shuts down unexpectedly.

I’ve tried different power supplies and cables, but the issue persists. I’ve also checked for any loose connections, but everything seems to be properly connected. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their Khadas VIM3 board? If so, could you please share any troubleshooting tips or solutions you’ve found?

It might be your cable. Many are using the 2 small data wires for power instead of a large diameter conductor. I just cut the end off the cable and connect directly to lab powersupply. If it has small power wire just toss it in the trash.
