More space with Home Assistant

I only can send one photo per post, here other capture with mount command.

Thank you for you help

ok… so you are runing HA from sdcard. You don’t need to follow my previous instructions. It should have access to all the space on your sdcard already.

Also in the screenshot you have shared here - More space with Home Assistant - #13 by mirendrith, I can see your HA related docker containers are running fine. So everything should be fine. Still let me try to reproduce the issue once again and I will get back to you.

@mirendrith I have erased my emmc from oowow and flashed my sdcard with Home assistant. Then I booted my vim1s from sdcard and configured the network details. After configuring the network details, I rebooted the system. HA was up and running in about 10-15 minutes after reboot. It only requires that much time for the first time to download and setup HA. From next reboot onwards, HA gets up in about 1-2 minutes.

Can you try to set it up from scratch once? If you still face some issue with fresh install, please share output of sudo journalctl -u hassio-supervisor.service and sudo docker logs hassio_supervisor

Good morning,

Thank you for your help, two questions:

how i flash the sdcard with homeassistant?
And if i erase my emmc i will lose my current Home Assistant configuration, right?

Download https://dl.armbian.com/khadas-vim1s/Bookworm_legacy_minimal-homeassistant and flash using balena etcher or raspberrypi imager

Based on the output you had shared before, you were running home assistant from sdcard, not emmc. But anyways, you can take a backup of your configuration and then import on your new installation. You can read about backups here - Common tasks - Operating System - Home Assistant

Well, now I’m using HA from emmc and my problem is that i haven’t got enought space to make backup :-S

When I have time I will try to do you said to my, if I erase emmc and I have any problem installing HA in SD I will be without HA for a while…

If you are now running HA from emmc, you can follow the instructions that I shared here - More space with Home Assistant - #15 by viraniac
