Hello, I received a Mind Maker Kit from someone who told me it wasn’t working and I’m trying to figure out what’s wrong with it.

I am using the Khadas power supply and cable.

If I hold down the power button for 5 seconds I see a white flash.
If I hold down the power button for 15 seconds it pulses yellow forever, I’ve left it on for hours.
If I hold down the power button for 35 seconds it flashes yellow for a few moments and then stops.

I never see the fan spin or any other activity on the device. I get no video out of the HDMI or the USB-C ports. USB devices do not light up or seem to get any power.

Is there anything I can do to try and fix this unit? What does the yellow pulsing light mean?

Please provide further device information to help locate the issue:

  1. Is the system pre-installed by Khadas?

  2. Have you updated the device BIOS firmware?

  3. Are you using any accessories such as Mind Dock?

  4. Can you provide a video of the device failure symptoms to help us better understand the current status of the device?

Seems like it’s stuck in “hibernating” mode.

There’s no storage device the NVMe has been removed. I was just trying to get to the BIOS.

It’s never worked I got it in this state so I don’t know about the BIOS version.

No accessories just the power brick, USB cable and an HDMI cable.

I will try to take a video when I can.
