Mind 2 + graphics problem

Hi, I’m having trouble pairing mind 2 and graphics modules.

I ordered Mind 2 a month ago, updated everything according to the instructions and have been using it. Then Graphics came to me and problems started. App keeps giving a message that it needs a reboot, I reboot and so on and so on. While this message is hanging, I can’t access the program interface at all.

The card is not detected in device manager

So, what’s wrong?

When I deattach Graphics module and restart App, interface is ready and all modules are updated

Here is one more message from app

Hello @sergey92shilin

Could you try the below steps?

  1. Try restarting the computer and check if the 4060Ti graphics card driver is recognized in the Device Manager. If the driver is recognized, use MindAPP to install the driver.

  2. Power off Mind, unplug the power cables for both Graphics and Mind, remove Mind, then power on again and reconnect Mind. Check if the graphics card driver is recognized.

  3. With both Mind and Graphics connected, check if the LED light on the Graphics is solid (on). Also, verify if the USB interface is functional. (If the LED is a breathing light and the USB has no function, it indicates the handshake has failed.)

Hello, @numbqq !

  1. I don’t see graphics card in device manager after restarting.

  2. It doesn’t recognize :frowning: I have tried it too many times

  3. Graphics LED is breathing, but USB ports (and audio and volume buttons) work well

  1. Connect the power supply to Graphics and ensure the front LED indicator is flashing.
  2. Ensure Mind is powered off, then connect Mind to Graphics.
  3. Power on the system, open Device Manager, and take screenshots of the Display adapters and Universal Serial Bus controllers sections.
Then we’ll determine what the problem is based on the contents of the screenshot

As requested…Powered up Graphics until light was flashing. Connected Mind V2 to Graphics and turned it on. Attached is the screencap of the Display Adapters and USB Controllers sections.

Hello? Anyone have a solution?

Yes I’ve reviewed it several times unfortunately it barely goes over laptop compatability and how to install the patch without update. I ran the driver update first as it says and it told me I had now available video card. I’ve had it for awhile but have never used it and first time I fully figure out how to use it it does this. I just really hope I dont need to eat a 1000 dollar loss here.

Thanks for your response.

I forget to mention I’ve set it up on multiple pcs/laptops mostly all amd of varying specs. All work up to that point. The only thing im confused about in the process is how to install the patch and make the pc/laptops recognize the gpu aspect of the product.

Hi Sir,

We certainly don’t want you to walk away from a $1,000 investment without getting the experience you paid for. Could you confirm whether you’re connecting the laptop to the Graphics enclosure with a Thunderbolt cable? It would help a lot if you could describe, step-by-step, exactly how you’re trying to use it and what specific problem you’re running into.

Thank you very much for the quick response. I’ll provide the following, details sorry for the lack of clarification.

I’ve connected via thunderbolt and I’ve received no error up until I try and install the graphics card drivers (furthest I’ve managed in the process). I’ve used all thunderbolt compatible devices and cables. Im trying to use it as an egpu attached to any device I can get it working on at this point and that should be all my available devices lol. Let me know if u want specs tho I’ve refrained so far because I wouldn’t know which one to give you in regards to each device.

Thanks again for the responses. Even if it doesn’t end up fixing I appreciate the quickness

Hi my friend,

Sorry for the late reply—I’ve been traveling on business. I’ve already passed your question on to our dedicated support team. To narrow things down, let me double-check how you’re using the unit.

You have several laptops—some with AMD CPUs and some with Intel CPUs—correct?
You connect the Khadas Graphics to the laptop with a Thunderbolt cable(Thunderbolt 3 or 4), download the RTX4060Ti driver from NVIDIA’s website, install it, but afterward the GPU still isn’t recognized or usable—is that right? At this moment, do any of the ports on the Khadas Graphics unit itself work (e.g., USB-C, DP, HDMI, Ethernet)?
