Hello, I see some info on the net regarding Linux and the DFU tool. I have not done it myself, so not sure it applies. May be worth looking into, but better to wait for Khadas’ answer to reduce bricking possibilities.
As an inconvenient workaround in case Linux cannot run the DFU tool…
If you do not want to try a dual-boot with Windows on your Linux PC, and you have an old or unused hard drive laying around, maybe you could temporarily swap out your Linux HD, temp install the old HD and install Windows to it. You can run Windows 10 for 30 days with no license or activation.
Somebody else may be able to help you run a Windows VM inside of Linux.
Yes, this is not the most practical solution, but you did say, “any help”.
@Yatsushiro If you place the @ symbol ahead of a users name, they get a notification. Perhaps you should use that for Khadas Team members like Gouwa, Terry, tsangyoujun, etc. They will be able to give you a better answer to the DFU on Linux question.
Once downloaded and unziped, the .bin file is there for you to run.
If you already have this, which you most likely do, just drop this mail in the bucket.
