Khadas Tone Board DOA?

Hi,
My Khadas tone board VIMs edition arrived yesterday, upon plugging it in via USB to both a laptop and surface running windows 10 nothing shows up under playback devices, or device manager.

I’ve installed the drivers on both laptop and microsoft surface and a desktop computer, tried 3 USB C cables, and multiple USB ports, both USB2.0 and USB3.0 and only the board gets a power light, and it isn’t recognised.

Is there something obvious that I am missing? I think it is broken when it arrived.

You must use USB Type A to Type C cable to connect Tone Board and laptop. USB 2.0 is OK,USB 3.0 is not necessary.

I used the supplied khadas cable, USB A to USB C, and tried several computers and other usb A - USB C cables and all the same issue.

No problem, i’ll return the faulty board, and order a new one. Thank you!
