I am mixing some Tech and I feel like I’m building the future.
I got the bright idea to take some Viture beast glasses, and go portable with one of these Mind Devices. I do think my battery stopped getting detected maybe i was pulling too much juice from these glasses but I was able to work around that with an external power supply.
This is what i believe future laptops are going to look like, they will be small portable units, we will have glasses we can see through and eventually these keyboards and mice will go away.
So far i took the glasses and started creating some face detection software , just vibe coding like a junkie.
Khadas looks pretty amazing booting up on the glasses. i run with full transparency most the time.
I also started building a bag / carring case. I’m getting flame resistant materials and waterpoofing a design for my rig.
I started with the regular Mind 1 unit, but i like what i’ve built so I’m upgrading to one of the dev units I’m looking forward to hosting my own LLMs on the device. I am using windows for now. I think there’s AI Foundry Local i could put on the windows computer to run my own SLMs and hopefully get a bit better with some automations.
