Khadas 24W type C charger pin not tight in vim 3 type C port (W/ diy case)

As stated in title, I feel the type C pin of the official khadas 24w charger sits not tightly inside the VIM 3 type C port and often by little movement of vim box, it’s accidently becomes loose and vim turns off.

Has any other user faced such issues? Have they found any solutions?

I should mention I’m using the VIM inside the khadas diy case…

Hi, yes, it doesn’t seem to snap into place, but for some reason I thought that over time a problem starts to appear when the cable is no longer completely new. You have a new cable. It’s strange of course.
I have a brand new cable from Khadas, it behaves well :slightly_smiling_face:

Strangely the problem is a bit confusing

  1. Khadas charger with my phone, ok :slight_smile:
  2. XYZ type C charger with vim3, ok :slight_smile:
  3. XYZ type C charger with my phone, ok :slight_smile:
  4. Khadas charger with vim3, loose… :sweat_smile:

I’m not sure how, but it’s strange

Yes, but I must admit, all cables work, new and old from Khadas
