How to use adb and power adpater at the same time for vim4 board?

If we power on the board using adapter we cant use abd and if we give power through laptop or desktop then board is not booting up so for that thing please provide any suggestion.
for our use case we are connecting vim4 board to a laptop as a hotspot. so we are not able to use adb over wifi.

@Chandrakant Is your board connected to Ethernet? Ethernet ADB is also feasible.

  1. Connect to other USB port or laptop/PC
    The total current of a port quite depends on your laptop’s circuit design.
    In my case, only one port of my PC can draw enough current for VIM4.
    I suggest to try with another laptops or USB ports
    I guess the best solution is USB-C port with PD

  2. Make your own custom power supply.

    I have not tried this yet. The Khadas team may comfirm this :wink:
