Hide rooted Android on VIM2

Hi all forumites.

I’m trying to run Showmax (Android) on the latest Android 7.12 image, but the application complains that the device is rooted and that it wouldn’t stream.

I’ve tried a few root hiding tools:
Hide Rooting Lite : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.formyhm.hideroot
Hide my Root : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amphoras.hidemyroot
Rooting Hide : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softdx.rootedhide

But none of them work. Do any of you know how I can hide the fact that VIM2 device is rooted?

Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

I am not sure if Magisk can be flashed instead of SuperSU. As Magisk have hide root option.

On some forums they say that Magisk is open source where SuperSU is closed source. Surely Magisk would then be a better solution? Anyone dare to comment?

Will also be very thankful to anyone who can help. Need to unroot or hide root for iptv players.

I think we need some firmware that either hides the root access or simply does not offer root access.
I hope the developers at Khadas can come up with a solution.

More and more android apps fail to install or run because they detect root access on the VIM and VIM2.
