Help: A start job is running for Load/Save Random Seed (24s / 9min 59s))?

  • My Ubuntu20.0 card has been here for a long time. What happened?
  • Anyone who knows why can discuss

Which image you used? How to repreduce this?

Plug a mouse and keyboard in and wiggle the mouse, press keys on the keyboard (to generate input for the randomness algorithm). It’s a common issue with VMs where the hardware is not very random.

I use the system is based on 编译Linux内核 | Khadas Documentation. After the system is compiled, clear the compilation and recompile the system so that’s it.

Is there a way to shorten the time here without using the mouse and keyboard?

Most OS include an “entropy” package to kick-start the process. See:
