Is there a way to detect when the device connected to HDMI-in performs a change of the image format (e.g. resolution change of a PC)?

We use the Camera2 API to display the stream on screen. How do we know that the surface size should be changed and capture session restarted?

@cadahl I have already provided feedback to amlogic, but they have not replied to us yet. But you know, this is not a bug, but a new requirement. They may not necessarily give a satisfactory answer.

I appreciate that. And even a negative answer is a useful answer. It just means I will have to find a way to accomplish it another way, e.g. abandon the “virtual camera” HDMI-in approach.
