HDMI CEC support

Hi all,

I’m considering to buy Khadas VIM and replace my current RPi2 with Kodi. In current situating i’m using remote form tv to navigate through Kodi menu because of HDMI CEC support.

Has Khadas Vim same HDMI CEC functional? Is someone using it same way?

Thanks,
Rado

Yes, I use it.
I use VIM with libreelec in SD, it is very similar to use RPi.It work fine. Maybe some menu different function with the remote but it is easily mapping.
I tried with android EMMC and kodi , it works, but in this case I can´t maping.
I don´t know why but with android there is some CEC malfuncions. example: I use remote to control android, it works them I changed to TV, changed to android again and stops the job,I need to reset vim and tv.

Which version of rom do you use?
If you flash the firmware ‘Vim_Marshmallow_Root_V170121.7z’ , you can turn off the CEC language checker.

I tested with Vim_Marshmallow_Root_161213, but I do not use anymore. I only use libreelec in SD and blank EMMC, if not libreelec screen is green.

I tested Vim_Marshmallow_Root_170121 but when I tryed to start with funcion button for libreelec it did not work, start android again.

Finaly, I can not use android, because if I use android canot use libreelec SD,

The latest rom don’t support the multi-boot . We are very sorry for it.
We will release the new Android Rom to support muilt-boot.
Thanks.
